the Theatre Art Studio opens the 14-th season

7 September 2018  the Theatre Art Studio opens the 14-th season with the play Three Sisters based on Anton Chekhov piece. This season is special for us.

“From now on the Theatre Art Studio – is a branch of Moscow Art Theatre”, said Sergey Zhenovach. “Reorganization will take approximately 9 months. I will repeat that it is not a fusion or diffusion of two theatres. There is Moscow Art Theatre with its’ own traditions, roots, biography, history. And there is the Theatre Art Studio. They will exist in parallel.”

We have some good news for you! First of all, we are happy to inform you that the troupe gathering took place on the 29th of August. The Theater Art Studio starts its 13th season – this time, as a federal theater.

Dear friends, we’ve opened the 12th season! We have the great news – now we become the federal theatre. This year we are going to work on Mikhail Bulgakov’s “The Master and Margarita”!

Our 11th Birthday

Today is an important day: we celebrate our 11th birthday! Hooray!

Dear friends, we’ve opened the 11th season! This year we are going to work on Mikhail Bulgakov’s “The Master and Margarita”, Victor Nekrasov’s “Kira Georgievna” and Nikolai Gogol’s “Dead Souls”.

What a season it’s been

The 28th of June was the Last night of our 10th season. It was a great year: we presented our production of Nikolay Erdman’s “The Suicide”, Sergey Zhenovach and Alexander Borovsky won The Crystal Turandot award, Sergey Zhenovach won Alexander Solzhenitsyn prize. And also we were pleased to arrange a lot of meetings with our dear audience.
So thank you for being with us all this jubilee season and we look forward to seeing you soon.

The Crystal Turandot Award

The laureates have been just announced: Sergey Zhenovach and Alexander Borovsky won The Crystal Turandot award for the best stage production and the best scenography for “The Suicide”!
